FOR NEW BREW

THIS MONTH'S WINNER IS:

Mexican
Altura

Our Light Roast Mexican Altura brews a smooth, medium-bodied cup that tantalizes the taste buds with a nutty flavor reminiscent of roasted hazelnuts. They have a moderate acidity that makes them excellent for blending, and they are often overlooked as a stand–alone brew because of it.

NEXT MONTH'S CANDIDATES ARE:

Peruvian
High
Altitude

This versatile coffee bean is grown in the high altitude regions in Peru. Moderately acidic with a soft body and flavor, this bean is ideal as a blending coffee and makes for an excellent evening brew. This variety of Peru is Light Roast level to retain the delicate balance inherent in these beans.

Estate
Java

The small island of Java in Indonesia — OK, it’s actually the 13th largest island in the world and the most densely populated — produces this excellent coffee. It comes to us from the Blawan Estate bean. Coffee from an island whose namehas become synonymous with coffee? that has to be worth trying!

Kilimanjaro
Mountain
Blend

Mount Kilimanjaro is located along the northern border of Tanzania, practically within shouting distance of Kenya. So, of course, our Kilimanjaro Blend is going to be a brilliant combination lightly roasted African coffee beans featuring a full body and mild acidity. This blend offers a soft, sweet undertone with a mild sharpness.
